About Us

The website "America in Nanning" was established in 2008 to expand interaction and foster mutual understanding between the United States and the citizens of one of China’s most important and dynamic cities.  With so many shared economic objectives and opportunities for cultural exchange, we believe that a renewed focus on the United States-Nanning relationship is long overdue. 

"America in Nanning" represents various sections of the U.S. Consulate, from consular and visas to economics and commerce.  We will be reaching out both in person on visits to Nanning and virtually through this website in the coming months and years.  The website will give the citizens of Nanning the opportunity to better understand the United States and get to know the many representatives of the United States who are working to enhance our bilateral relationship.
