About Us

The website "America in Nanning" was established in 2008 to expand interaction and foster mutual understanding between the United States and the citizens of Nanning city and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.  Guangxi and the U.S., each embodying diverse cultures at home, increasingly share many economic objectives and opportunities for cultural exchange.

"America in Nanning" represents various sections of U.S. Consulate Guangzhou, from consular and visas to economics and commerce.  We reach out regularly in person on visits to Guangxi officials, companies, schools and nongovernmental organizations.  This website gives the citizens of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and of the United States the opportunity to better understand and get to know each other.
