Visas to the U.S.

The United States welcomes Chinese travelers to visit the U.S. In 2009, nearly half a million (nearly 500,000) Chinese travelled to the United States.  A large majority of Chinese who apply for an American visa succeed in getting the visa and visiting the United States.

Guangxi has a history of welcoming American tourists and of successful cultural and business exchanges with the United States.  We welcome Guangxi residents to apply for our visas.

Although all travelers to the U.S. after September, 2001 have to interview to obtain a visa, now there are new rules that make renewing your visa easier.  For frequent travelers, it is possible that you do not have to travel to Guangzhou for a new interview when you renew your visa. See the Nonimmigrant Visa information from U.S. Consulate Guangzhou for the most up to date information.
